EMERGENCY: 9-1-1, USE IT WITH CARE
Dialing 9-1-1 in an emergency can save your life! It connects you directly with a dispatcher who can send the police, fire or emergency medical help you need. But remember, 9-1-1 is to be used for life threatening emergencies or crimes in progress only, not for routine or non-emergency business.

North Marion County Communications serves as our City's 911 Center.  NORCOM has launched an emergency notification system which allows citizens to determine how they would like to be notified in the event of an emergency.  With the advent of so many modern communications, there are many ways one might receive this type of information.  To participate in NORCOM's Emergency Alert system please register here.

Non-Emergency Police Department 503-845-9294.

Non-Emergency Fire Department 503-845-2438.

If your power goes out, call PGE at 800-544-1795.

To report natural gas odors, please call 1-800-882-3377 immediately.

If you experience a water break and need water shut off after hours, call the Police non-emergency phone number of 503-845-9294 and follow the prompts that will lead you to dispatch.
